Want to get involved in Brave New Radio?
The following are the current openings at WPSC. We are only accepting current WPUNJ students (undergraduate or graduate) into our organization. All students involved in radio station activities must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA at all times.
In House DJ
Do you like working with audio?
Can you edit audio like a neurosurgeon?
Are you a funny, creative, out-of-the-box human being that loves sound effects?
Then the Production Team is for you!!
Anytime you hear something on our airwaves that isn't a song or a live DJ talking, you're hearing station imaging. These promos, stingers, sweepers, Station IDs, legal identifications and public service announcements are prerecorded to give our listeners information they need. All of these elements are created and produced by our production department, and we can always use more help! Audio Engineering & Media Production majors can get hands-on experience recording and editing with Pro Tools and Adobe Audition.
In addition, our Production Department records live sessions with local artists, so if you're into live sound, we got you covered there, too! If you're interested, contact our Production Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
WPSC is always looking for talented new students to join the ranks of On-Air Personalities & Producers! Training sessions take place at the beginning of each regular semester. The training process is a 5 week course of intense radio training. If you are interested, please dedicate the necessary time toward the training process. It will pay off, I promise.
For questions about training, please contact our Recruitment Directors at email@example.com or to our Program Director Nicholas Gomez at firstname.lastname@example.org
The WPSC Sports Department is seeking students with a passion for sports and commentary. Participation in WPSC Sports broadcasting is a great way to learn hands-on, add to your resume and create an Air Check.

Brave New Radio is seeking street team members to help out at live events. Our promotions department is always out and about promoting the station at local music shows and William Paterson events and we need help! We're looking for motivated, energetic and most important friendly students to help hand out flyers, participate in station giveaways, man the WPSC tent and more. If you want to become part of the team and have a lot of fun with us, contact our Promotions Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The lifeblood of our programming is music, and we try to have as much representation of different styles and genres as possible when it comes to those who decide what gets played over our airwaves. As such, our Music Department can always use extra ears. If you would like to help us listen to the weekly avalanche of new music we receive weekly, or if you'd like to contribute to our ever-expanding music library, email our Music Directors at email@example.com.
