Dave’s Hot Chicken Comes To Jersey

Dave’s Hot Chicken has made it to Jersey! The first location opened in Wayne, New Jersey with its Grand Opening on Friday, December 9th. Dave’s Hot Chicken originally started in 2017 in Los Angeles and gradually made its way to the East Coast.

What began as a tiny stand in a parking lot, put together with $900, turned into a beloved franchise. I had the pleasure of visiting the new location prior to the opening and the experience was amazing. The decor of the restaurant is unique, with graphics all across the walls. The staff was very friendly and understood that many on the East Coast have not had Dave’s Hot Chicken before, so they explained the menu and were very helpful.

I also had the chance to speak to one of the staff members who knows the franchise very well. Dave’s Hot Chicken serves fresh, not frozen, chicken with seven levels of spice to choose from.The menu is also very simple, truly making the chicken and their Dave’s sauce the main focus. The chicken was very crispy, and the fries were beautifully seasoned. The restaurant is also Halal, standing out from other restaurants in the area, many of which are not Halal. Dave’s Hot Chicken is truly like no other in the area and definitely worth it.
